The Founders and Management of SynaBee are comprised of an exceptionally experienced and talented team. Encompassed in the members of the Board and Management team are vast experience in taking companies public, growing startups and small entrepreneurial companies to large scale, senior experience in international enterprises, deep knowledge from various C-Suite, Board and ownership positions in technology, university, hotel and resort and real estate businesses.

Unlike many startups in the Internet space, SynaBee’s founders are seasoned technology and business services C suite executives and entrepreneurs, with decades of knowledge in both building private companies and taking companies public. The platform technical development team is global in nature with core expertise in all critical components. Key members of the development have demonstrable “Exit” and “Product” success in social networking, location based services and B2C apps.

Noel J. Guillama, Chairman

Since 1984, Noel has been Chairman of Guillama, Inc., a strategic operations consulting and management company focusing in healthcare, technology, construction, and real estate. With his extensive, first-hand knowledge in these industries, Noel has built/managed the development and/or construction of a wide range of projects including roads, medical centers, commercial complexes, and infrastructure. He is inventor of over a dozen patents in technology and healthcare, some of which are currently before the USPTO.

SynaBee, Inc. was an evolution and collaboration of concepts in multitenancy database management.   The Episodic Social Network ™ concept began with discussions he had with the five (5) co-founders regarding, real estate and location-based social media, and the clear impasse that social media has in deriving revenue from the enormous social networks that exist to physical host. 

Noel has served on the FIU Foundation Board of Directors since November 2002, serving as Chair in 2010-2011 and previously Finance committee and Investment committee Chair, Chair or Audit and Chair of Academic Committee. He serves on the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum Board of Advisors. Additionally, he is a Founder for the FIU College of Medicine and FIU Alumni Center. He attended Palm Beach State College, Palm Beach Atlantic University and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Birthing of Giants entrepreneurship program. Noel was born in Havana, Cuba and has been a resident of Palm Beach County, Florida for 40 years. Noel has active Real Estate and Building Contractor licenses in Florida.  

Carl Larsen, COO/CTO

Carl brings over 30 years of strong operational experience in the nuclear industry, computer software development and implementation, major technology business unit turnarounds and as an entrepreneur starting and managing several of his own companies. Carl has over 20 years of experience in senior and executive management positions in both small and large corporations in the technology sector. His experience includes financial planning and analysis, managing human resources, information technology, and legal departments. In addition to his technical skills he is a demonstrated leader with organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning experience.

Carl is presently serving the dual role during startup of SynaBee as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. As CTO he is managing the design and development effort for SynaBee’s B@ platform. Carl is managing the development the design of the B@ Platform and continues to provide direction and leadership to the B@ development team. Carl is responsible for the planning and implementation of the B@ platform launch at SynaBee’s Commercial Host installations. He reports to the President/CEO and provides assistance as Chief Operating Officer regarding company operations, various administrative functions, business planning, human resources, strategic planning, sales and marketing activities.

Carl has earned a B.S. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from The University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
